Friday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel, under the leadership of Octavio Gil
Every Friday night in the Chapel we have a full service offered in Spanish. The desire of our Spanish ministry team is to bring those who desire to be apart of the VWCC vision, but speak primarily Spanish, into a place of entrance into our church body. Our desire is obviously unity, and that regardless of our language barriers, God can mesh hearts that speak and understand the Spirit of God.
We realize that there are many Spanish Churches available to the Spanish speaking population of our community. We also realize that churches are unique and have a distinctive mandate from the Lord. So we desire that anyone be apart of this church body who would desire, and that is why we offer translation devices for all of our morning services, that they might be able to hear the platform message in Spanish. The Spanish ministry on Friday night is just an opportunity for our Spanish speaking population to further grow in their spiritual development within the VWCC vision, as well as reach out to a large Spanish speaking population with the truth of the love of Jesus.
Each service has many of the same elements as our Sunday morning services, with a heavy emphasis on praise & worship, the word of God, and an opportunity for prayer, healing and deliverance. The Spanish Ministry also looks for opportunities to reach out within the community, as well as provide translation for events planned by Valley West Christian Center.
